PPDA awarded by CoST

As the regulatory body in charge of implementing and ensuring good procurement and disposal in Uganda. The Public Procurement and Disposal of Public Assets Authority (PPDA) has to be the most transparent and accountable institute in the nation.
For taking the frontline in guiding government agencies, and spearheading adherence to procurement procedures, the PPDA has been recognized and given an award by CoST – the Infrastructure Transparency Initiative.
CoST is an international organization under the Basel institute on Governance.
CoST works with government, industry and civil society to promote the disclosure, validation and interpretation of data from infrastructure projects, to inform and empower citizens to hold decision-makers accountable. It is a country-centered multi-stakeholder initiative designed to promote transparency and accountability in publicly financed construction.
